Thousands of carbide particles are permanently bonded to the cutting edge precisely for specific cutting and drilling needs. 29mm (1-1/8") depth of cut. No teeth to dull or chip. High heat and abrasion resistance. Resists snagging. Smooth cutting. High wear resistance. 5mm (3/16") thick heavy duty backing plate eliminates the need for drive plate. Uses standard hole saw mandrel, usually in conjunction with carbide tipped pilot drill. Recommended for cutting laminates, fibreglass, ceramic tile, marble and slate, cast iron, fibre cement sheet and composites. Not suitable for monocottura or vitrified products - these products are best cut by Bordo Brilliant diamond hole saws.
