Made from 3D ductile (spheroidal graphite) cast iron to balance durability, machinability, and toughness.
This 410mm product offers tensile strength of ˜415MPa and hardness =187 HB. Elongation ˜12%.
- Applications: marine, automotive, hydraulic, agricultural, railroad, machine tool and general manufacture
- Fabrication: see datasheet for machining, welding and heat-treat guidance
- Limitations: Can be welded; not readily flame or induction hardened.
