C26000 Brass Sheet is a Brass used for decoration for its bright gold-like appearance and for applications where low friction is required such as locks – gears – bearings – doorknobs – ammunition casings and valves – plumbing and electrical applications. Brass is often used in situations where it is important that sparks not be struck – as in fittings and tools around explosive gases. Care should be taken using brass in marine environments – substitute it for bronze or use ‘naval brass’.
