New products at Edcon Steel: LevelMaster

Edcon Steel is proud to introduce LevelMaster to our steel stores!

Perfect for customers looking to increase the ease, reduce the time and lower the cost of levelling a house, the LevelMaster products are created through detailed engineering and design work that meet Australian Steel codes to ensure you “do it once and do it right.”

The LevelMaster difference

When the ground beneath your house moves or shifts, you must adjust the levels to avoid cracks in your walls and to prevent doors jamming.

Yet, traditional methods of house stump manufacture have left a lot to be desired.

The LevelMaster team took a different approach to traditional methods of house stump manufacture.

They were the first in Australia to create detailed engineering and design works completed within Australian Structural Steel codes, offering up to 16 certifications for stumps and bracing, which simplifies the certification process when the building is complete.

Owned by Robert Rooker, a qualified engineer with a background in structural steel, and backed by a team with more than 30 years of experience, the LevelMaster products deliver to the philosophy of do it once and do it right.

The advantages of LevelMaster

With two types of connectors available, you can find the right product for your building.

The LevelMaster screw-on connectors are the most popular choice, secured using 14g Class 4 TEK screws.

With this method of connection, you can still meet or exceed most building requirements up to N3 wind ratings, while saving time on assembly, with no on-site welding necessary.

But if you’re requiring something stronger, the weld-on connectors are perfect for environments where maximum strength is essential, like cyclone-rated areas. The LevelMaster design engineers will specify this type of connector to meet or exceed wind rating uplifts.

Perfect for house re-stumping or for new stumps, the patented LevelMaster product is not only stronger, and easier and faster to install than traditional stumps, but gets all points level in a fraction of the time. Unlike other stumping methods that require specialised tradesmen, the LevelMaster products are quick and simple to install. The increased speed and ease of installation also reduce onsite labour time and costs!

As all LevelMaster stump connectors, bases and tops come pre-treated with hot-dip galvanising, they offer increased durability and extend the life of the stumps. LevelMaster’s unique design also features a screw height adjustment of up to 120mm, with the stump remaining adjustable for the life of the building.
