Aluminium in a range of sizes and profiles
Aluminium is a widely used metal in construction, manufacturing, engineering and fabrication industries. Lightweight, strong, naturally corrosion-resistant and highly workable, aluminium offers an excellent combination of practical and structural properties that make it suitable for an extensive range of applications.
Edcon Steel offers customers 8 premium-quality profiles and alloys to choose from, and we cut to your specified length, so you only pay for what you need.
In this article, we highlight four of our popular sections: C-Section Channel, equal- and unequal-angle, flat bar, and sheet & plate. In our next article, we’ll take a look at round bar, square bar, tee bar and tubular sections.
Aluminium C-Section channels: Sizes and applications
Aluminium C-section channels are a versatile structural and finishing product. The distinctive C-shaped profile provides a combination of strength, lightweight construction and corrosion resistance. Aluminium C-section channels are preferred for framing, edging, supports, protective trims and general fabrication.
Edcon Steel offers 32 aluminium C-section channel variations. The selection offers customers a range of profile dimensions and material thicknesses to suit various project requirements.
