Ideal for tapping nuts - small quantities made from tough steel such as stainless steel as well as mild steels - or for rethreading rusty or worn threads.=?=? Alternatively - the Intermediate and Bottoming leads are ideally suited to long reach threading applications where the thread needing to be tapped or cleaned is beyond the reach of a standard tap. We recommend the Intermediate lead Machine Nut Tap for long reach through-hole applications and the Bottoming lead for long reach blind hole applications.
