Aluminium Alloy 5052 has medium strength - good weldability and very good corrosion resistance in marine and seawater applications. Tread plate or Floor plate is a textured pattern embosed on one side to provide anti slip for flooring and access applications. Commonly use in industrial areas - but due to 5052 grade aluminium high corrosiion resistance it may be used in marine situations for anti slip on boats - trailers and wharfs or salt water pools.
