2024: Year in Review

The past year has seen the steel industry continue to navigate the challenges of recent years, but it has also been a year of significant progress. For Edcon Steel and many others in our community, it has been a year of great achievements.

As we look back, we’re excited to share some of our favourite highlights from the past 12 months in our 2024 Year in Review.

Partnering with the Walk a While Foundation

One of the most exciting things to happen this year was our epic adventure to the Red Centre of Australia. We teamed up with acclaimed Australian landscape photographer Ken Duncan and the Walk a While Foundation to support a wonderful project happening in the Northern Territory. With donations from several of our wonderful suppliers, we made the 3,000km trip to deliver steel, tools, and gear to the Ikuntji community of Haasts Bluff, about 250km west of Alice Springs.

We are so proud to have been a part of this project and to have had the support of so many of our generous suppliers.

Maria Romeo Metal Sculptures

Maria Romeo’ has been a valued customer at Edcon Steel Brookvale for more than a decade.
