At Edcon Steel, we don’t just sell steel and metal. We support our community and the next generation of steel and metalworkers.

With stores across New South Wales, we are proud to support some wonderful community organisations, educational institutions and sporting clubs.

Here are some of the groups we support.

Avalon Surf Life Saving Club

With the very first Edcon Steel store located in Brookvale, it’s no surprise that we love supporting our Northern Beaches community.

We are particularly proud to support Avalon Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC), a family-based club that works tirelessly to ensure the safety of beachgoers.

With more than 1,000 members and strong links across the local community, Avalon SLSC is an iconic organisation that not only patrols the beach but hosts fantastic community events and supports the next generation of locals through youth development programs.

Bathurst St Pats RLFC

Our Edcon Steel Bathurst store proudly supports the St Pats Rugby League Football Club (RLFC). The largest Bathurst junior football club, St Pats has over 400 registered members and is supported by an enthusiastic extended community of supporters, volunteers and sponsors.

We are excited to continue supporting the club through its 2022 season!

Conobolas 4WD Club

Our Edcon Steel Orange store is proud to support the Conobolas 4WD Club.

Based in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the club has a diverse range of members with interests ranging from touring to camping, driver training and funkhana days (low-speed, light-hearted competitions).

ACU Strathfield

At Edcon Steel, we are always keen to support up-and-coming metalsmiths, welders and fabricators.

That’s why we were honoured to support the Australian Catholic University (ACU) Design and Technology department.

We have been amazed by the talent and skill of the students, who have created shelving systems, rear bumpers, tool trolleys and modular stools/side tables.

These high achieving students have been awarded Edcon Steel prize packs, including gift vouchers, welding equipment and other Edcon products.
