Series 500 Hex

Edcon Steel’s Series 500 (also known as 5‑series Tek screws) are high-performance self-drilling screws with a hardened No. 5 drill point, engineered to penetrate up to 12 mm of mild steel—eliminating the need for pre-drilling. Featuring a fine thread profile and robust flanged hex or countersunk heads, these fasteners deliver excellent pull-out strength and secure fastening for demanding applications in structural assembly, steel framing, HVAC, and fabrication environments.

Available in Class 4 galvanised and stainless steel finishes, they strike an effective balance of durability and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for both internal and harsh environments.
